Test Prep & Homework

Students enrolled in our ACT Boot Camp in Milpitas continue to score an average of 3 to 4 points higher on their composite score. We have several years of experience with helping students ace the ACT exam by constantly improving the testing, teaching, strategy, and practice of all four subject areas.
We highly encourage students to take the ACT exam since colleges accept both ACT and SAT scores equally. In fact, since 2012, there are more students taking the ACT than the SAT. Students will have the option of choosing a weekend or weekday course, where each class is 4.5 hours long.
With the new harder SAT it is necessary to prepare as early as possible. SAT 1 Math, Vocabulary / Critical Reading, Grammar / Writing, and SAT 2 Biology Preparation.
Our SAT Prep program in Milpitas is only offered on the weekends year around. We have found over the years that students do not have the quality of time on week days to allocate in preparing for the SAT exam. The preparation process takes diligence, attentiveness, and hours of extra study time. During the weekdays, students are tasked with a heavy load of school work, thus we have found that weekend is the best opportunity to prepare for the SAT so that the student can optimize their success in learning the material and preparing for the actual exam. We have divided our SAT program into three different sections of the SAT exam so that students can enroll into the section of the test they think they need most help in. However, most of our students will enroll into all three sections of the preparation.
We encourage all Freshmen taking Biology at school to consider enrolling into the SAT II Biology Preparation course during the winter session. After taking Freshmen Biology, it is an optimal time to prepare and take the test in the month of June during Freshmen year as the course content is still fresh in the mind of the student. If the student has potential plans to either apply for a private college or major in the field of Science, taking the SAT II Biology test is advised.
